Vicana is led by Kevin Rosenzweig, a former CIO for 15 years. Kevin began his career as an entrepreneur in QSR at Brandeis University while studying economics and politics. After Brandeis, Kevin earned a MBA at Boston College. Kevin started his consulting career in the retail practice of Arthur Andersen. Kevin, a 20-year veteran of the retail technology industry and previously a CIO, brings with him deep retail knowledge and experience through leading major technology projects, including implementations and upgrades. As CIO, Kevin set IT strategy and executed projects reaching organizational goals, as well as supporting corporate, store and merchandising software and infrastructure. While a member of the marketing, CRM and loyalty committee, Kevin helped to identify new and improved ways to reach, serve and interact with retail customers.
Through Kevin's tenure as CIO and consultant, he has acquired significant expertise in system architecture, retail IT management, Point-of-Sale technology, IT services, business process analysis and redesign, and project management. As a business leader, Kevin worked to improve store operations, inventory managment, reduce shrink, implement loss prevention processes and improve HR procedures. Other business initiatives that Kevin led include the rollout of new concepts, gift cards and customer loyalty, and cost savings projects in sales audit, loss prevention and electricity usage.
Kevin earned a MBA from Boston College and is a graduate of Brandeis University where he earned a BA in economics and politics.
Gary is an experienced, results-oriented retail executive and consultant with a track record of delivering operational, financial, merchandising and product development improvements through process and organizational redesign, resulting in enhanced efficiencies, sales and profit growth. As a senior executive and consulting partner with leading department stores, mass merchants, specialty stores, wholesale, eCommerce and direct marketing companies, Gary creates value for clients through reengineering and aligning process and people, utilizing technology to achieve strategic goals.
Gary previously served as Operating Vice President reporting to the Chairman and CEO of the 4th largest discount retail chain in the US. With experience in corporate and division positions, he has a varied background and keen understanding of issues related to revenue, margin and operating income.
