eServer i5 520
The IBM eServer i5 520 server is
a new member of the iSeries family, that can deliver
the power and capacity to run core business
applications, as well as new e-business
applications on the same server. eServer i5 servers are
designed to run on a variety of operating systems,
including: i5/OS (the next generation of OS/400),
AIX 5L, Linux and Microsoft Windows (via an IXA or IXS).
eServer i5 520 servers help companies reduce
complexity by simplifying their IT infrastructures and reducing
their total cost of ownership (TCO). Companies can
start small and expand their eServer i5 servers as their
needs grow with multiple growth options and upgrades
available,
The 520 model is a compact 1-way or 2-way
server suitable for most office environments and it is available either in desk-side or rack-mounted
